Funky & Flirty Florals Inspired by Paper for the Clairestelle8 June Nail Challenge. Today’s prompt was Purple.
Being a creative slash design nerd, I love nice design. And stationary. And a bajillion other things, but nice papers and delicate things are some of those. Rifle Paper Co. make some amazing wrapping papers, fabrics and notebooks and have inspired many a nail artist besides myself. I love a good floral mani and decided to use one of their new wrapping paper prints as inspo.
The flowers were hand-painted with mostly acrylic paints and touches of nail polish, using several brushes which included Pure Color No. 9 and No. 10, and a random other one. I am missing Spring already! So I wanted to do one of my favourite fall-backs – florals.
They were hand-painted with mostly acrylic paints for ease of colour spread, and some polish for highlights. I chose to use my Pure Color brushes which are great for fine detail, and they really allow you to create thinner lines.
This also doubles as an early prompt for the #nailpolishsocietyabc challenge this week which is the letter G: G is for Graphic Print.
