Hey, hey! Day 14’s 31 Day Challenge prompt is Flowers. I decided to do abstract flowers. So here is my effort for Flowers – Settle Petal. I had always planned to go a little abstract, but it turned out I had to be more than anticipated due to circumstance. So I’m not sure I’m completely sold.
It was going so well. I thought for sure I would get to post early. I had begun these earlier in the day but there was a lot of things on; I got stood up by tradies, certain others didn’t arrive, there was some huge things going on, sudden things needing immediate attention and time just spiralled out of control. Which means things like nails and challenges get put on the backburner for the day.
This was the basis of what I began with. It’s freehand – obvs. In case you couldn’t tell 😀 The plan was to actually do a little more inner detailing in the centre of the flowers, add a little more needle drag bits and make those areas a little more petal-like with that definition, but to be honest, I was too pooped and flat out. So I decided to top coat it and leave as is. I didn’t even get to embellish it, which sucked, but I may attempt to redo these another time into the future.
This challenge has already used up lots of my September, so can’t do it all unfortunately. BUT! At least I got something done and didn’t have to skip a day, which is better than nought. I will have to catch up a little on seeing what everyone else is up to and has done a bit later though, and now to rest.
