Back with a follow up post to the recent Polish Pick Up stamping polish I swatched. Mystical Pastels nail art using “Start the Day with Bubbly” – Hit the Bottle limited edition June PPU – which you can read about here! That link also contains purchase links & details.
This is the nail art I created using this polish, which I sneak-peeked in the swatch post 😍 This shade gave me a mystical vibe, like velvety cloths when light shines on them, and I wanted to include some solid stamping to show off the shimmer. So I combined geometrics with some soft colours and shapes, very loosely based on Zener cards.
NERD FACT: Zener cards are the symbol cards used to ‘test’ ESP and Clairvoyance. They were actually designed by the perceptual psychologist Karl Zener (1903–1964) who designed the cards in the early 1930s, for experiments that were run with his colleague, parapsychologist J. B. Rhine (1895–1980). Subjects try to picture the shapes on the corresponding card, which is out of view, using sensory perception.
And one more of the art to show off that shimmer (see the star). The white outline is Hit the Bottle’s Snowed In.
