Fantastic for Fall. Awesome for Autumn!
This is Zoya Yuna, from the Fall 2014 Ignite Collection. It’s dark and moody and loads of fun! Before I continue, I should excuse my slight absence. I haven’t been in the best of health, and had many things crop up; ergo I am way, way behind in planned posts and painting. Openings and whatnot. Hopefully things won’t be so sporadic in the coming months. So here, have a gawk at this shade I am still loving for the cool, overcast weather we have been experiencing.
I love this shade, touted by Zoya as ‘grey with copper and gold liquid metal and warm undertones’…
I’ve captured the micro-flakes in the image above but you can see them more in the bottle footage in the following clip:
THE RUNDOWN:
Name: Yuna
Brand: Zoya
Collection: Fall 2014 Ignite Collection
Colour (or family): Warm graphite grey
Type & Finish: Shimmer with golden micro flakes
Size: 15ml / 0.5oz
Formula & Application notes:
Opaque in 2 coats.5 Free as with all Zoyas. Great formula that goes on like a dream. It’s got a creamier base than the couple of others I have tried in this same collection.
The Verdict:
This is the perfect dark Fall / Autumn shade. With it’s gorgeous shimmering copper undertones and with subtle blue leaning qualities, it’s it’s a rich polish that’s perfect for wearing at night. This polish is a great choice when you want stylish nails to match an elegant or chic fashion code. It still has a warmth to it thanks to the coppery flash.
Amp it up with a few white gold/golden studs or a Swarovski crystal feature nail.
Dupes/Similar Lacquers:
Though there are polishes with a similar type of micro-flake finish, Yuna is unlike anything I could find.

Thanks for the kind thoughts Stace. It will be, just really exhausting and time consuming in the meantime so I can’t do it all. And yes, I recommend this colour if you don’t have it – it’s even more gorgeous in real life 😉
