So, who doesn’t love new launches? Especially when they involve MATTE?
Like, the NEW NEW Gel Matte Top Coat from @opallacgelpolish, say? The Polish Gods granted my wishes and said “Why yes, Ms Lacquerista. You can haz new matte top coats!” And delivered soon after. I’m on a mission to MATTE ALL THE THINGS!
See how cool the MATTE look looks over these other Opallac gels ➡ L to R in: Oh Sandy, Pastel Polly, Date Night, Appletini & True Blue.
Why do I like matte top coats? Well that’s a silly question. Try again! 🤔
Why do I like THIS matte top coat?
💅 It’s a NO WIPE top coat!!
💅 Great velvety finish on this
💅 I love Matte nails 😍 (duh!)
💅 It’s smooth & has nice viscosity
💅 It’s a gel polish so can be used to extend wear time with regular (fully dry) polish/art, or mix up the look of gel colours
You only need a (nicely applied) thin coat of this, then nuke it and you’re good to go. I’ve used it in most recent nail art if you want to see it in action and have got a video on my IGTV and IG feed here:

Name: Gel Matte Top Coat – now available here, and also at Priceline (for those in AU) online & in select stores
Collection: Core Collection
Colour (or family): Clear Matte
Type & Finish: Matte
Size: 7.5ml / 0.25oz
Formula & Application notes:
Smooth and velvety!
HOT TIP & PSA: If you want to try it over other gel brands, you can – but PLEASE make sure you’ve wiped off the dispersion layer (tacky layer) or any uncured gel first before applying this top coat, so you’re not mixing products with different formulations 💖[This does NOT apply if using with other Opallac gels] 😉 I get asked about this a lot & reinforce it here. IMHO it’s very important, but not mentioned enough, so for the benefit of those that don’t already do this…
Pretty much as outlined above. Love it!
Matte top coats, but not all are created equal.
