Opallac Manhattan Spark – Gel Polish Swatch for the week from Opallac. This is a medium-dark rose pink with lots of sparkle. It was harder to capture but we got there in the end. Read on for the wrap up.
And a closer look so you can see the delightful sparkle… Subtle but noticeable even in dimmer lighting.
Formula & Application notes:
Smooth with some sparkle, this is 2 decent coats. Followed by a top coat. No application issues, though shake it well because it does contain sparkly pieces that are denser than the polish that contains them. It appears dark in some dimmer lights and brighter in the sun, so it has a few different faces.
Due to the density, I recommend you apply in thinner layers to get the coverage you want. It was nice and opaque so that won’t require too many. I liked it way more than I expected and had compliments from males even (we’re talking ones that don’t have much of a clue about polish) when I went about my business.
It’s a pretty rose pink and if you are someone who loves pinks and shimmery things, this is probably something that you would really enjoy. It is totally suited for occasions, like wearing at night, going out, parties. That kind of thing – may be a little frowned on if you have strict work place policies on nail polish, because it does draw the attention. It has a warmth to it and would suit pale, fair, lighter toned and olive skins in particular quite nicely.
None spring to mind, none in my collection anyhoo.
