31DC2018 Day 31: Honor Nails You Love – Organic Colour Abstract

FINALLY! Catching up with posting of THE final images of THE final prompt in the 31 Day Challenge for 2018. I did this for Day 31’s Honor Nails You Love. For this I chose to do a freehanded number based on an uber-cool mani by LA based nail whiz Bel of So Hot Right Nail. [Explore entries on Instagram #31DC2018 ]

Slightly darker light – 31DC2018 Day 31 Nails You Love – SHRN inspired Colourful Organic Abstract

I did a different colour combo with a bunch of shades I’d wanted to use together. I do like the original better, but eh, it still works. The original was also inspired by a funky phone case.

So of course, as I tend to favour matte for these looks, I did it to this set as well. The original was matte anyways. I did this particular mani instead of a different one cos I thought it’d save time, but I really don’t know what I was thinking haha. God, I love my freehand but it is time consuming and of course painting with polish adds to that time.

I didn’t have all the colours in gel paints, so that’s why I opted for straight lacquer. All over a white gel base of course, cos I can finally wear something for longer than 8-24 hours. Because THE END!!!! OMFG!?!

OH THANK HECK FOR THAT! Whilst I finished this earlier, it just feels freeing to finally be done with the posting of said Last Mani. Hanging over my head. I have had to juggle a few things even at the end. So when I get chance I’ll do my final wrap-up, and spend some time catching up on the comments and other manis. Don’t forget the finisher badges if you need one or completed the Challenge too!

Also, this was me. Legit. All afternoon.
