So, how does Appletini weigh up?
Formula & Application notes:
This shade was opaque in 3 thin coats. You could get away with 2, but it was a hot day and the consistency of this polish was quite runny so I didn’t want to do my coats too thick. A) because I am not fond of the ‘flooded edges’ look (it looks sloppy), and B) heat spikes are still a thing. I did more because when shooting I am holding my nails in the sun or lights and it reduces potential VNL (visible nail line) showing through.
Check. Out. That. Gloss! Top coated like a dream and Bob’s your Uncle. So to speak.
I love mint! It’s a great shade. It looks dope on medium and dark skin, can make your tan pop if you have one, and has all the right tones to flatter olive and lighter skin. Plus it is a great shade for Summer and Spring, even though I wear it all year round. A good base for dotticures, florals and similar nail art. If you’re into greens I think you might appreciate this one.
