Continuing with the 31 Day Challenge for 2018. We did Day 25’s Fashion prompt. For this I chose to do a Fashion – Trendy Tea. [Explore entries on Instagram #31DC2018 ]
Instead of doing clothes and the usual, I did a fashionable print – this time inspired by a tea bag I was given. It was a mint green tea and has a linear geometric print that looks kind of cool. So I recreated it on my nails! I really like it. It’s abstract and colourful and pretty on trend as far as tea bag fashions go, right?
I toyed with the idea after playing with other tea patterns recently, and it seemed like a bit of fun. Tea has been consumed as much as glitter dust and polish fumes throughout the entirety of this dang challenge, so it only seemed fitting to pay homage to that as well.
I used stamps mostly and even recreated the crimped edge as you can see here in the image below. The coppery diamond outline was foil printed on the box but not on the teabag, which is why it is included on the nail.
Dammit! I’m Behind again (big groan!) after my tech had other ideas and back to not posting. Time to rest but will update with all the supplies used later in the day. This is driving me bonkers!
And that wraps up my 31DC2018 Day 25: Fashion – Trendy Tea mani.
