31DC2017 Day 18: Half Moons (Literally)

I did literal half moons for the Half Moon #31DC2017 prompt. So I should’ve posted these the other day, but still lagging a little behind with the posting. Aaargh!?!! 😂

The base is So Soiree from @opallacgelpolish – it’s a delightful berry hue. Gel polish too by the way – a quick cure suits me fine given the lack of time or energy right now. I’m doing this backward, Swatch for this coming later, as already running behind with the posting of the challenges… It has a nice plum tone to it, though most cameras love to accentuate the reds in these tones and freak out a bit.

I double stamped using @essiepolish Good As Gold, Bones by @mundodeunas and Shape Nouveau XL501 @bundlemonster. Not sure where I was going with the accent, but I may or may not have begun combining challenges & got sidetracked 😂 Oh look, A SQUIRREL!

I was happy to test out some untrieds too. I interpreted the prompt literally this year, but it seems so did many others. I planned to paint actual detailed earth moons, but you know, Time + Chaos = Yeah Right²

I am loving seeing some of the beautiful manis that have sprung forth from these challenges. Keep the inspiration coming! 😊✌
