Day 26 of the 31 Day Challenge already? Wow. That was sort of not really quick! Today’s prompt is Inspired By A Pattern. Nice. It’s no secret that I love patterns. And colour. And design. And spinach, but I digress.
I had so much troubble picking one Mara Hoffman print for yesterday’s Fashion inspiration prompt, that I thought I’d do another for today. I really like this marriage of greens in the Feather Classic print, and it looked even fresher as a duvet cover. It was sold through Anthropologie when she first moved into homewares, but is no longer available. Pity, this would have looked amazing in the guest bedroom of the future McMansion.
And here’s how that swimmers / duvet / doona / quilt cover print translated into nail art today:
These ones are fun to wear. I’ve used a pile of greens and blues to create the final product, including black polish for the freehand illustrated the feathers themselves. I took a little longer with the lines than yesterday’s, but given I get one day’s wear out of these I didn’t want to sacrifice any more time on them. It is a lovely print and my nails don’t do it justice, but it was a bit of fun anyhoo.

Thanks Rijah 🙂 Despite wanting a tiny bit more room to fit more detail, I liked wearing these colours
