When I saw that today’s prompt being Day 18: Half moons and all I could think of was Frank Sinatra’s old tune, Blue Moon. You know the one:
Blue moon
You saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
So I ignored it and did something totally different. And went with angular moons. A soft peach and white gradient, with milky white half moons. They were over-stamped with a shiny gold polish to give it a bit of something else. I added a small gold hemisphere stud and a hollow triangle to accent the expanse of peach and white.
I think this look or colour combo would suit oval nails quite nicely and I’d swap that triangle stud out for a smaller one. I might have to find time to give my poor dry skin some extra TLC over the weekend. I can now add ‘Challenge Fingers’ to the list of ailments I’m suffering from. Dry, battered nail edges. I have been using piCture pOlish’s That Remover water-based nail polish removal where I can, but the copious layers of polish involved in some of these manis mean that removal takes forever (I’m looking at you glitters!!).
I am finally getting to post this a little earlier. Yay, me! Will be back to check out some of your efforts, but I must run off and find a replacement lamp for now though since my last one became an electrical hazard. Shocking, I know. 😀 You see what I…? Oh nevermind…
