Today I have a preview of the latest coming month’s limited edition installments from beloved Aussie Indie brand Femme Fatale. This polish is Hastur – 2 of 2 Femme Fatale Colour of the Month’s (COTM) for Oct 2018 – Polish Swatches below.

If you look at the tips where the light has shone you can see the golden tones that come through when hit by light. In the shadows it can look more bronzed as seen more on the base of the nail. I’ve tried to capture both various looks in the one shot, as I was shooting on a pretty tight deadline this month.

Formula & Application notes:
Smooth and this is 3 thin coats with top coat, and you could get away with two depending on how thickly you paint. Flawless application.
This shade is a black based yellow-gold with scattered holographic particles & glitter. It looks almost bronzed in some lights due to the combination.
The Verdict:
Hastur is an entity of the Cthulhu Mythos. I love this shade and had no issues with application or wear. It shows more bronze or more yellowed depending on the light it’s viewed in. See above.
