Opallac Babes In Bondi – Gel Polish Swatch

Up today is a gel polish swatch for Opallac’s Babes In Bondi, a nice Summery vibe pastel peach polish. Look down for the pix and below that for the details.

The polishes used in this line up:

Here’s a shot of the polish naked and solo for your enjoyment.

If you are looking for this gel in store, here’s what it currently looks like in the hang packaging.

The Opallac description for this gel polish Babes In Bondi “Soak up the sun in this beautiful pastel peach colour. It will leave you completely sunkissed!”

THE RUNDOWN:

Name: True Blue – available here or select Priceline (AU) stores
Brand: Opallac
Collection: Core Collection
Colour (or family): Pastel Peach / Apricot
Type & Finish: ‎Crème
Size: 7.5ml / 0.25oz

Formula & Application notes:
Great coverage in two easy coats was achieved with this polish. It is a strongly pigmented pastel peach polish and the brush is again the same as the previous polishes I have tried from this brand; decent thickness, which you can press on softly or heavily to create a thicker brush application.

The Verdict:
This is a nice polish for Summer, with it’s pastel appearance. Matches well with gold if you wish to add studs and charms. It could also work as a Safe for Work shade if you need something more subtle to wear to the office or work place.

These kind of shades can also, depending on your skin tone, often make you look more tanned. Though given the warm peach colour and pastel quality of this polish, it would really suit medium/olive skin tones – being especially kickass if you added some gold studs.

Dupes/Similar Lacquers:
Hard choice, but it is similar to Essie classic ‘A Crewed Interest’.
