Continuing with the 31 Day Challenge for 2018. We’ve hit Day 09’s Rainbow prompt. For this I chose to do a mani I describe as a Minimalist Fractured Rainbow (mainly doubling as my second entry into the MYL MoYou London Minimalism Contest). [Explore entries on Instagram #31DC2018 ]
Again, running slow with posting today. I had something different planned but due to not posting my contest entries earlier (I’m down a charger) I am couting this as today’s Rainbow entry. Which means bumping the actual Rainbow idea to the Gradient prompt and the gradient idea to the Geometric prompt.
You had to use all MYL plates, and I used several from the Deco, Tropical and Holy Shapes series to create this Minimalist mani. Complete with matte top coat because it just looked cooler. I’m a huge doer of abstract and minimal nail art, so this one was fun to do and I knew I couldn’t skip it, even if it meant shuffling things around a little.
I used all Hit The Bottle stamping polishes for this. I should have gotten Michelle (owner) to sponsor me – since I’ve used them for 10 manis in 9 days 😁 I’m kidding, haha, but they are seriously great to use. I recommend you try ’em. Especially all you stamping fiends!
And that wraps up my 31DC2018 Day 09: Rainbow – Minimalist Fractured Rainbow (MYL Contest) mani.
