NEED UR FEEDBACK.
I know we're ⅞ a week in but I'm still traumatised from the last one, so go easy LOL 😂

I normally have something witty or more profound to say. But every year for the last few when declaring how much better the next will be, it's turned out worse then the last. So I won't even. Time for real talk.

2021 for me was the equal 1st worst ever. Whilst I don't speak much about it here, being a nail blog & with peeps showing such indifference in the past, trust when I say I've been thru things that would blow minds and not wish on anyone! 🤞 It was a year of continued chaos, upheaval and massive losses, on ALL levels - which explains the posting gaps

Let's call it 12 on a scale of 1 to 10...It's not over yet but I'm still alive. Both something to be grateful for, and a testament to the fact I'm resilient AF 💙

So there's no need to declare 2022 will be better - the simple fact it's not any of the last several already makes it so ha😊🖤

The plan is to return to more regular IG posting once Chaos Central subsides. But tbh, I struggle with whether to bother. Not been able to do my usual style/stuff, numbers took big hit. Social media's a fickle beast. And God help those who don't post for a bit, cos let's be real: shit stuff happens to good people - yet the algorithm and response received is like you got social leprosy. Or is it just me?

None of it inspires a comeback. I love nail artistry but it oft feels like so much effort for so little return on this platform, and that needs weighing up.

PLS TELL ME: has your feed been affected? Has there been changes that altered your engagement up or down? How did your account performance change from Jan thru Dec?? Thoughts? Feedback?

Who knows what the year will hold. My only plan is to get back on track, to thrive - not just survive.
