Hi nail nerds! I know I said it might be a little quieter on the blog for the next month or so due to what I have to do, but I asked had to beg to cut one day short as a one-off, which was sternly frowned upon but granted, to do this special post – fun item to show. It’s coming as soon as it could, as just started an extremely grueling schedule of rehab and therapy, and only arrived back to this beautiful gift from Madam Glam – their 2020 Advent calendar! Wow!!  > PICTURE HEAVY!

This was an unplanned post, that still took aaages to do so hope it makes sense in my exhaustion, but here’s a Showcasing of Madam Glam’s 2020 Advent Calendar – Gel Polish & Nail Tools Surprises for each day of advent, and even Christmas Day!

I won’t be able to do daily unboxings because of my intense schedule (doesn’t leave time or energy), but there was no way I couldn’t give you a glimpse at this product and the first few treats! (when I can add them). P.S. no advance spoilers for the rest, so you can still pick one up and enjoy the surprises yourself!

What a beautiful looking box – let’s check it out. This really is a gorgeous box that ties with a yellowy-gold ribbon and has a lovely white, gold holographic foil print finish on dark black base, featuring a beautiful wintery design theme. It’s got a decent weight and looks very impressive!

All is Glam indeed – touché! As someone that loves and appreciates good design this box is very high standard, not flimsy, and would look amazing under a Christmas tree if you decide to gift it to someone. Whether for Xmas, Hanukkah, Festivus or just to thank them for being awesome 😁

There’s a sweet little poem on the inner lid, and various sized boxes numbered for each day. In the lead up to Christmas (or chosen event if you don’t celebrate), each day you open one and discover a beautiful surprise of nail gifts, polishes, or tools.

Without giving away exactly what’s in it, some of the treats you get are:

There’s 24 treats to be opened throughout Advent, from the 1st to the 24th, and they’ve even included a Christmas gift for the 25th which is really thoughtful. Getting to the 25th with nothing to open is a bit sad haha, given it’s a day of presents 😊 As a bonus treat they’ve included 2 extra polygels that you can give to your other nail addicted friends, which I think is kinda cool.

Even though December’s begun, this is still a great gift to give someone on Christmas if there’s any left in stock – or even to buy yourself for a gift. It doesn’t even have to be used for Christmas advent and could be used to countdown the start of the new year or even BEGIN the new year with a nail treat for every day! After how hard 2020 has been for people that would be a nice start to 2021!

You can even reuse the box to store nail tools and other nick-knacks as it is pretty well made. It’d actually make a great storage box for things like glitters, pots or nail foils, even nail files and similar things.

Like many things Madam Glam do this has been a really well thought out Advent calendar – perfect for the end of year. I’m really impressed with the variety of products contained within so far. It’s a fabulous way to try out mini versions of colours and other products that you might not have necessarily bought in full size, so keep that in mind if you are someone who likes testing out new products or are into subscription boxes.

I recommend it for anyone who loves gels & gel polish – whether buying a treat for yourself or looking for a wonderful present for the nail lovers in your life, you can’t go wrong.
