31DC2015 Day 23: A Movie – Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 3D

Hello again. Back with some whacky nail art today as we glide into Day 23 of the 31 Day Challenge. I couldn’t decide on something given there is so much choice. In the end I settled on an animation. #31DC2015 options argh! In the end I decided to go with Day 23: A Movie – Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 3D. And yes, we have more 3D fun

So we have my rendition of a meaty meatball manicure. No, literally. I was planning to add spaghetti, but I’m sure you can forgive me for not wanting to find someone to run out in gale force winds and rain to make those mountains move. It’s cold and wet, so I had to make do with whatever I had on the food stuffs front.

Shall we?

I painted a base of blue sky with white-ish clouds upon which would lie a far flung food fight. I created some saucy flying meatballs using a sculpting gel set in my beloved LED lamp in layers of paint to create the textured appearance of meat and tomato sauce. This is where we would have had the addition of spaghetti had it not been pissing cats and dogs. So just imagine…

And with some other food stuff that was flying through the air. It was quite appropriate to paint a food storm given the weather I’m experiencing here is quite similar, sans food. But still.

Anyhoo I think they’re kind of fun 🙂 Chunky, but fun. And that is my meat-laden mani for the Day 23 Movie prompt. x
