31DC2018 Day 03: Yellow – She Wore Lemon, Blinged Gradient

She Wore Lemon for today’s 31 Day Challenge for 2018, still catching up. We’ve hit Day 03’s Yellow prompt. For this I chose to do a somewhat abstract Blinged Gradient with stamping detail.  [Explore entries on Instagram #31DC2018 ]

And a wee closer look at the accent nail.

Now I was going to cover the whole thing in crystals, but I didn’t – for reasons listed below. So to me it looks okay but a little unfinished. Oh well, let’s pretend it was intentionally abstract hehe…

Day 03 Yellow – She Wore Lemon, Blinged Gradient – Accent nail Close Up

This mani was actually going to be 3D Lemons, which, if you read my 31DC Intro Post, lists more 3D in my aims. But I ran out of time and couldn’t find one item I needed, so ran with this instead.

The gradient was sponged on and created before masking off half and stamping on the circles. I am unpacking and reorganising and have also misplaced my thick gel, so had to improvise to stick on the beads and bling onto the accent nail. So I stopped halfway with that one and left it as is.

The name of this mani references an ancient Brian Eno-produced U2 song that was stuck in my head, in case you are wondering…
