UR SUGAR Autumn/Fall Gel Polish Set – Born Pretty Review

Today I have swatches of the UR SUGAR Autumn/Fall Gel Polish Set – Born Pretty Review for this set as well. It took a little longer be able to post these I’m sorry – as the top coat was missing and I used the last of it in the glitter review. But due to lockdowns, emergencies and massive postal delays it took ages for the replacement top coat I ordered to arrive. Anyhoo, shall we? BE WARNED: PICTURE HEAVY!

Purchase details, links and description of the product/s are listed below the images in The Rundown section.

Buff & Polish - UR Sugar Autumn Gel 6pc Set, COLLAGE

I think I need to start this post by saying how much I freaking love this set. Autumn and Fall is one of my favourite times of year. It’s a season where it’s not too cold and not too hot; the colours of nature are beautiful. Of course depending where you live, you’ll understand what I mean…

This set comes with 6 beautiful autumn themed colours. It contains all the colours of maple leaves is there a dry up in Autumn with Yellows, Orange, Red through Browns. It’s listed as Color: Pumpkin Maple Leaf Fall Colors.

It’s from the brand UR Sugar and is a really cool selection colours in my opinion. They’re not too similar and create fantastic ombre nails which is also popular right now. I love just painting my nails in similar tones or ombre shades from the same colour family, and this is a great set to do that with.

The volume of each bottle is 0.25 fluid ounces or 7.5 ml and the label lists simple numbers on the base. The whole set is actually really quite affordable. You can also get a second set which contains more of the browns and red and orange without the yellows in this, but I liked this one the most. If you use the link below you can check out the other set and also even purchase them together.

The photos of shown below for each of the swatches contain both glossy and matte look for each colour. It may be a little hard to tell the difference in the light because I didn’t have much daylight to shoot in, but I think they look great both ways to be honest – and that’s from someone who really loves matte nails.

Ok I’ll just shut up and show you the swatches of the whole set. This is, as mentioned, quite picture heavy, so hope you enjoy!

I found it really hard to pick a favourite because I really like the whole set but if I had to, the dark gothic looking oxblood shade really reminds me of one of my favourite ever OPI classics which is Lincoln Park After Dark. Cos it’s just so chic & stylish. Pairs well with gold jewellery alone or with nail art to be honest.

Formula wise they’re really easy to use and only required 2 coats to get to full coverage, which is great. Some may require 3 of you paint thin, but shake the bottles well to mix the pigments first. I don’t like doing too many coats with gels because you already need base and a top coat and unless using builder gels it can get quite thick. Not a look I tend to go for myself except in the case of sculpting or using builder gel where it’s deliberate. These didn’t pool in the side walls or anything like that and cured easily in my 48w LED UV light for 90s. It’s recommended that you cure in LED UV is for 60-120 seconds or CFL UV for 2-4 mins.

Which colour is your favourite? Would you wear these kind of shades?

These are such good colours. A lot of fall sets have too many browns, but these are perfect 😀

They really are. Ugh, I know right? I don’t mind browns from time to time, but it gets a bit much 8-10 of the same basic shade in the one collection. It’s not like we’re stuck in the 70’s!? 😂😂
