Here is the first look at Opallac Gold Digger’s Glitter Gel Polish Swatch. The next of the trio of new GOLD GLITTERS collection from Opallac Gel Polish. My parcel as mentioned earlier arrived with the glitter gel polish bottles hidden inside glitter bombs, and yes, I am still pulling it out of my hair haha!
Opallac Gold Digger is a sexy yellow-toned Gold glitter gel polish. I love gold polishes, some of my personal favourite shades that I seem to not be able to stop purchasing. My thoughts on this are in the review box below, get a load of this baby!
You can see it sits smoothly on the nail despite the glitter pieces.
Check out the close up for the refraction. Here you can see the slight amount of silver particles that also make up this gold polish.
It really sparkles and has a nice look in the shadows too which I’ve tried to capture below. Looking more antique gold in the shade.
What do you think of this new glitter shade??
I hope you enjoyed the first look at the Opallac Gold Digger Glitter Gel Polish Swatch. Swatch Video to come!
Name: Gold Digger – available here or at Priceline (AU) online & in select stores
Collection: A Little Spark Collection
Colour (or family): Gold
Type & Finish: Glitter
Size: 7.5ml / 0.25oz
Formula & Application notes:
Opallac Gold Digger gel polish is more of a foil glitter finish. It is completely smooth and glossy with the top coat, and the polish itself if densely populated – like you’d expect in a foil or a metallic polish. This is 2 coats, but it is fairly dense and even though you could probably get away with one coat, for regular wear I still recommend 2 for a complete coverage that looks smooth.
It is not the kind of gel you layer over other colours, as it doesn’t have a clear base like White Diamonds. I also recommend shaking the bottle well before application for all three shades in this new collection, to properly mix the glitters. This is more of a typical yellow gold, but it does have hints of silver particles for shine.
I had no issues with formula. I really like this colour and it is the same formula as the one I’m showing next, Rose Quartz.
This is another versatile shade that can be worn all year round. It’s a very wearable colour, and combines hints of both gold and silver – especially perfect with black and white accent colours, or gems and Swarovski crystals if you choose.
Opallac’s Gold Digger is a yellow-toned Gold glitter polish base, and this new release features a total of 3 shades of different gold – white and rose being the other 2. You can see the White Gold “White Diamonds” here and the Rose Gold is to come.
None spring to mind. But the finish slightly reminds me of Gilty Party from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line, but that had copper flecks whereas this has silver.
