Today I have some Geometric Linework Nails featuring the Mitty Burns 11mm Salon Series Brush shown in recent posts. This is the freehand artwork using the 11mm brush for all the lines. You can read my full review and see the info & video demo on this brush here.
I went with a metallic, white and silver theme. The index finger has some iridescent holo tape on it encased in gel, though you can’t see it – due to the angle of the lights it looks flat silver. It is actually a pretty green to purple shifting tape, but it’s so hard to contort one’s hand to hold props AND capture the reflection without looking all gumby…
I mixed matte and gloss for kicks as I like to do. I painted the lines and circles with this single brush and it was smooth to use. I painted each of the brush nail designs only with the respective brush being shown so you can see what can be achieved. I wore these a bit, so it involved gel as well to preserve it longer.
And the 3 brushes I reviewed are here next to each other for comparison sake…
And that concludes my Geometric Linework Nails feat. Mitty 11mm Salon Series Brush Post. See the products & supplies list below!
