Abstract Geometric & Holo Violet – MoYou London Contest #3

Ultra Violet in a nutshell. Whatcha think of this geometric offering? My 3rd (and final 😁) entry for the @moyou_london Pantone 2018 contest. I did it in gloss and matte as I couldn’t decide which was coolest.

This here is the gloss version of said mani, though bit hard to tell the difference with all my “reflection avoidance” 😉

And a look at the cool imagery on the back of the plate, this one is the Trend Hunter collection. I do love their packaging these days. Bought MoYou London when they first started a few years back and they originally only had the logo.

These look so much fresher, even if you don’t see it that often (being plate side up). And as a design nerd, it’s small touches like this that add more value. Easier to tell what the plate is too when you are sifting through 400 of them haha! OK, I was exaggerating a tad, but if you’re a stamping hound, you get where I’m at.

Again I used a series of gorgeous purple polishes in a range of tones & finishes from @picturepolish, @hit_the_bottle, @el_corazon_shop, @el_corazon_art_direct& @essence_cosmetics 😍

This is the mattified version of this mani (shiny shown earlier) but given the lengths I went to to avoid reflections in the gloss shot, it may be hard to tell the difference. It’s slight, but definitely the first one was fully glossy!

There were some great entrants, and you could enter multiple times. This one was fun. I didn’t realise I had so much purple and violet in my collection given that it’s not my favouritest colour.
