Continuing with the 31 Day Challenge for 2018. We’ve hit Day 07’s Black & White prompt. For this I chose to do Black & White – Negative Space Abstracts. [Explore entries on Instagram #31DC2018 ]
I had a different idea but the lack of sunshine as I experienced an electrical storm nixed that, so you get this mani that was for the MoYou London minimal contest. I was saving it to post but might as well do it now.
I created negative space masking and stamped over the top of this OPI Lisbon shade that I love, Suzie Chases Portu-geese. It is a white polish, but appears to have a nice super subtle pinkish tint to the white, which I’ve done my best to capture in the shots if you look at the bottle.
I like this one even though I’m posting it late (later on Day 7 than planned). And even if it reminds me a bit of Dalmations, it still incorporates several of my “go-to’s”: white polish, negative space, and abstracts. I often wear things that I don’t even shoot, usually due to time and whatever else going on, and they often incorporate those styles.

I love white polishes, but really like ones with slight tints or hues for a bit of difference. So I’m not wearing white ALL THE TIME haha. This one is a new favourite. Thank you Zara!
