31DC2017 Day 17: Geometric Print β Geo Shapes are my flavour of the day using one of my fave blue hues in the form of – El Capitan by Floss Gloss. Cute arse bottles too, eh? π I hand-painted a few geometric shapes and lines in white. Didn’t go too hell for leather being after midnight and all, and having SFA time as it is, but it still works. I think. Needed a bit of bling, thus the accent.
How cool is this blue? I have loved vibrant cobalt blues forever and ever since Nails Inc. Baker Street was released seem to have a need to buy them in polish in various brands. This one isΒ Β 0.18oz / 5.5 ml but it is pretty much a 1-2 coater shaken well. It was fromΒ SpringΒ 2016Β release and is 7-Free.
Linework completed with Winstonia Fine Lines & a liner brush, all topped off with Glisten & Glow’s Top Coat.
I did a matte version cos I have a need to constantly MATTE ALL THE THINGS!! I cannot explain it. It’s like an autonomic compulsion. Which do you like best, the gloss version or the matte topped with Polish My Life’s Matte-rialistic?
And a progress shot! With some of the brushes. In case you have never seen a nail art brush in your life. Be amazed! π
Just realised it’s pretty much the halfway point. I haven’t managed to accomplish as much as planned given Life Stuff, but not too bad I suppose considering. Props to anyone still chugging! I’ll get some more time to catch up on everyone’s posts this week.

Thank you Kim! π How good is almost anything matte? π
To get my lines straight, I tend to brace my painting hand a bit to keep it steadier.
(I do have a video coming at some point when the chaos subsides that should show it better.)
