Hello Day 12. Say an even bigger hello to Stripes. Prompt for today. I was feeling naughty and went a little navy and nautical. So I’ve named this one ‘You’re Naughty-cal’… It’s not too complex in terms of how stripey one can go with the striped theme, but neither did I want it that way. I paired it over a buff cream base with the delightful OPI My Vampire Is Buff. It is so very buff. (Perhaps not as buff as the shirtless Channing Tatum in this whatever-the-heck movie that just came on TV…)
These colours marry nicely and in all usage, whether furnishings, fashion or fingertips! But it needed some charms so I added a lovely gold anchor and pearls. Gold matches so much more nicely than silver would, given it’s warm tones that bring out the warmth of the cream and navy, so that’s what I went with here.
And here’s a bottle shot of the delightful Zoya Natty. One of my favourite all time navy blues in colour, performance and creaminess.
It’s the weekend now so I will leave it there so I can reboot my laptop and go post on Instagram.
