Already hitting Day 06 of the 31 Day Challenge. The colour is vivacious Violet – so I did some purple layering. All forms of purple and violet in a mashup that incorporates kaleidoscopic shapes – therefore why I like to call this one Collide-oscopes. I know right? I should’ve worked full time in branding. Anyhoo I can hear you mumbling at me to ‘please, shut up’ and get on with it. So at risk of shitting you to tears with any more punny word plays, I will just leave these here…
Violet is a colour that I would generally never buy in an item of clothing (merely because it is not my thing – undies probably excluded), but it seems to get a decent run on my nails and in lots of my nail art. So go figure! Thus there was no shortage of polishes to choose from here.
Some of the ones I used were from an Aussie brand Glitter Gal. They were available internationally through various channels and I’ve picked up a bunch here and there. I’ve been using so many mainstream brands in the challenge so far, I thought I should show some love for the indies. (Especially after that kick in the guts hoo-ha that was going on in the indie world recently)…
