Speaking of voting against pineapples yesterday, I had already decided on Kiwi Fruits for today’s GREEN theme. And with no plans to make this challenge all about fruit salad, opted for kiwis over pineapples. So this is what we have here. Day 04: A Lean, Green, Kiwi Machine.
Green is one of those colours that I really love as a colour in general, but don’t tend to wear a lot of on nails as a single choice. Not just because of the staining power many greens seems to have (I’m looking directly at you, Teal!). It’s just a thing. You know, it’s not me, it’s you. I guess some shades of green are less appealing to me on the nail than other options in those moments when staring down indecision and into the Helmers of Choice.
Plus, the dip in appeal probably has a fair bit to do with the staining – even through base coat. I’m not keen on my post-green bare nails looking like I’m trying to colonise fungi on the them. So that’s the trade-off.
And here’s a peek at the polishes used in this endeavour. Full listing below.
SUPPLIES USED FOR THIS NAIL ART:
Polishes:
- China Glaze – Def Defying
- Essie – Mojito Madness
- Essie – Marshmallow
- Mundo de Uñas – Black
