Winter Snowflake Nails

snowflake-2-cropped

Hello Snowflakes! If you’re in a part of the world that is experiencing the chill factor zero, you might be seeing lots of these wonders of nature right about now. And if you’re heading into the Summer months as I am, there’s no reason why you have to miss out on that cosy Wonderous Winter feeling. Heck no! So before I go back into hospital yet again (“Such fun!”, said no one ever), I thought it was high time to post something before I have to go sadly polish-free again.

I used a base of blue hues in piCture pOlish Sky and Swagger, used in a slight gradient fade (melted snow). I layered some glitter texture and hand-painted a few random snowflakes in white. A little top coat and some bling for a little extra pizazz, and Voila! Here’s a few more pix…

Cheers Stace. The trick is to use a good thin brush and rest your hand on the desk or table if you aren’t too steady. Practice first in flat paper if you are new to it – I have done a lot of sketching and painting so am used to drawing on various surfaces, but it’s easy to learn with a bit of minimal effort. HTH xx
