Purple Pythagorean Nails – Quick Post

Purple-Pythagoras-Toes-all

Just a quick post today. Look away now if you have an aversion to feet. As purple toes with triangle glitters is the nail art du jour – or rather the toe-nail art. After wearing sparkles over the Festive season, matte glitter seemed like a great option. In fact I love triangles – and have done long before they were re-purposed by the Hipster movement.

This pedi also matches a platter of sweets and desserts – that sadly I was not allowed to consume any of. So colourful iced tootsies was the next best thing. Well, aesthetically speaking. Consider it a partial homage to icing with sprinkles.

I will review the glitter polish used in the near future, so consider this a bonus preview. The topper is Doctor Lacquer’s Pythagorean Fiesta. Fiesta indeed – it’s like a Spanish party for your fingers and feet! The base colour is from Mecca Maxima’s stocked polish brand Kit (aka Kit Cosmetics). Called Big Bang, it’s a vivid purple that was gifted to me for Xmas in a set of bases and toppers. Whee!

SUPPLIES USED FOR THIS NAIL ART:
Polishes:

  • Kit – Big Bang (purple)
  • Doctor Lacquer – Pythagorean Fiesta (glitter topper)
