Today I have a preview of the latest coming month’s limited edition installments from beloved Aussie Indie brand Femme Fatale. This polish is Onibaba – the Femme Fatale Colour of the Month (COTM) for September 2018 – Polish Swatches below.

This month’s Colour of the Month is a wonderful shimmering green over a teal jelly base, full of green-blue shifting iridescent flakies.

How lovely do those flakes look, huh? Subtle yet very noticeable when hit at the right angles by light. They sit flat on the nail and it goes without saying that I had no issues with application whatsoever – as is the norm with Femme Fatale polishes.

Formula & Application notes:
Colour of the Month is gorgeous! It’s a shimmering green over a teal jelly base, full of green-blue shifting iridescent flakes, as mentioned above – if you noticed and weren’t too mesmerised by images of this beauty.

This is 3 thin coats with top coat, mainly for swatching purposes. I recommend 2-3 depending how thickly you paint. Another flawless application, it dries quickly yet smoothly despite the addition of flakies and flakes.

The Verdict:
I really love how Femme Fatale just create such layered polishes. Sophie has a real knack for combining things in such interesting ways, and if you’re already a fan, you will understand this. Photos can only show so much, after all. I suggest considering this one of you are one of the many who lust after blues and greens. It will not disappoint.
