I wasn’t sure exactly what I would end up with at the start, but this mani resulted in mattified neon and negative space (the latter being a regular favourite theme). It was created by masking off areas with some straight tape, Skinny Chevron vinyls (I love these things!) and a Cuticle Defender latex barrier – which is the pink bits in the following progress shot:
I painted some lines on by hand and for other fingers I created reverse decal overlays with neon yellow painted lines on my Uber mat, which were transferred to the nail. I topped the nails with gloss to enhance longer wear time, before coating with OPI’s Matte Top Coat.

And when Instagram decide to hurry up with this rollout of the video content timeline limit increase from a pissy 15 seconds to soon up to 60 seconds, people like me can fit a little more info into the vids!? I’ve always found it sooo restricting.
Sure you don’t want tons of boring long content or badly edited videos clogging your feed, and shorter is always best for most people’s attention spans, however if you can edit footage so it gets to the point it will allow for more creativity. And not having to watch the more complex nail art tutorial videos that had to sped up to the speed of light, or at least The Flash. Are you looking forward to this new change, or have you been lucky enough to receive it already?
