I named this mani “Aztecan Me Forever!”… Why? Because trying to do this Aztec Nail Art, Aztecan Me forever!? (Get it? Has taken? You see what I did… Oh nevermind. Just call me Dad π).
I used some Born Pretty water decals (from a set I’ve reviewed before) in a reverse decal sitch. And slapped it over one of my favourite Floss Gloss shades – Wet ππΒ This turquoise is so everything!! So vibrant.
Also created this mani forΒ @glamnailschallenge#glamnailschallengemay Aztec prompt. Has been a while since I’ve done a tribal or Aztec style nail art. Must do more!
My goal is to start doing more of the complex manis I love – like freehand, mixed media, and layered stuff, if I can get more time and energy mid-year. It’s just so time consuming and I am running short across the board, so often have to resort to simpler things. Which bugs me, but I figure some is better than none when it comes to nail art. I just miss doing what I prefer to do.
Wet (the base shade I’ve got on) doesn’t get nearly enough airtime, so to speak, but I HAD to wear this again after seeing SimoneΒ @whatonegirllovesΒ rocking it! Go check her and her good taste in nail lacquer out.
Items used are listed below in the box. Meantime, here’s a glimpse at the decals I used, up close.
