Today I have a preview of the new release collection from Aussie Indie brand Aree Polish. This page shows polishes – part of the recently released September 2018 Collection, available already. It is quite picture heavy – Polish Swatches below.
The full details and description of these lacquers are listed below the images in The Rundown section. I have already posted them to my Instagram throughout the month, but wanted to wait till they were all shown to post here cohesively.
First polish is Sunrise. Inspired by SUNRISE, this peach metallic contains pearlised white microflakes 🌅 I’ve lit the swatches of this one to show off the shimmer.
This here be Interstellar. It’s perfect for a touch of vamp! Inspired by the midnight sky, this is an opaque black cream containing iridescent microflakies in a nice deep purple hue ✨ you can see the shift in the light here and the flakes in the bottle shot.
This one is called Mystique. The inspiration for this polish comes from the night sky at Twilight, one of my favourite times of day. It is a rather intense blurple polish that contains magical iridescent flakes that shift from teal to purple. If you look closely I’ve tried to capture both on the nail and in the bottle.
Here we have Wine & Roses. A late afternoon inspired shade that has a shimmering finish in a metallic golden rose base colour.
TOP COATS
Light It Up! This is a clear topper jam-packed with antique gold holographic pieces. Toppers are usually meant to be worn over another shade, so I’ve paired it here with black ✴🌟 Because nothing beats a nice black & gold combo
This was one semi-generous coat and demanded close-ups for these first previews, just so you can see the sparkly goodness. I’ve shown it in slight shadow and light so you can see the how the holo stands out.
It was topped with Aree’s Crystal Fusion Top Coat to fully accentuate the holo sparkle. This top coat dried nice and fast too (60 seconds sounds pretty good to me, and who has time to sit there forever. Amirite? 😆)(of course I’m right 😁)… Shown below.

Formula & Application notes:
The swatches above were all 2 coats with Aree’s Crystal Fusion top coat. Application was super easy and smooth to dry. The top coat brought out the shimmer and flakes where contained, so is always recommended for full effect.

The first series of swatches shown here are polishes that are mainly inspired by times of the day or evening.
