31DC2015 Day 21: A Colour – Golden Child

31 Day Challengers rejoice! We’ve started the 3rd leg of this enormous challenge. The Inspired By… prompts. They aren’t my favourite, but I prefer them to the colour prompts.

Here we have #31DC2015 Day 21: A Colour – Golden Child. My colour of choice is, you guessed it, Gold. I thought I would go for a full skittle manicure – which made perfect sense because I as also using a variety of different golds in my stash, so why not have different nails, eh?  So Bling it on! (groan)

I went with a gold on white stamp, a little dotticure, a bit of stickered detail, some water-marbling and shimmer! All in gold and white for a little balance. Well that was fun. Nice to get back to some metallic hehe…

Thank you Monica ♥ It made me realise how many gold polishes I have ha!
There’s so much variance and I seem to have a slight infatuation with buying that colour 🙂

Okay, I’m going to try and post a comment in a different post, FOR SCIENCE! In regards to your question- I only tried to comment on that one post, but it took three tries.

Anyway I’ve been meaning to comment on more people’s blogs, since that’s kind of the whole point of 31DC right? I really love this mani. I hardly ever think to combine gold with white, I usually end up pairing it with jewel tones. I should try white + gold, this is gorgeous!

For science: this is attempt #1 at posting a comment on this post.

Huh, this time it went through with no issues. I wonder if it was an problem on my end, then?

Haha – ALWAYS FOR SCIENCE! Yeah well I did a little testing but of course I couldn’t replicate it on my own blog.

It’s hard to say if it was on your end or not as I was having recent issues too. If it happens again, definitely let me know. Sometimes a reboot or cache clearing helps. Chrome has its perks, but is quite bloated as a browser and does have a tendency to randomly break things that were working before for no apparent reason. Thanks for experimenting anyways.

And thank you – yes, white and gold are fun. Know what you mean. Sometimes it is hard to keep up with all the daily painting, posting, and uploads across all forms of social media – spesh with only two hands, two eyes, and limited hours in the day 🙂
